As a Managing Director at DNX, he mainly engages in VC investment in Japan, and helps Japanese companies, particularly fund investors, to create business opportunities through open innovation and collaboration with start-ups.
Tetsu has been working in the VC field for 24 years. Prior to DNX, Tetsu worked for JAIC(TSE1:8518). As Head of Investment Division, he was responsible for investments in Japan, Asia and North America, as well as fund raising from corporations and regional financial institutions. At DNX, he focuses on investing enterprise, martech, retail tech and digital health startups. He is currently an outside director of six companies: SHIFT (TSE1: 3697), Innova, UNCOVER TRUTH, favy, trippiece and TOKYOBASE (TSE1: 3415).
